Hey everyone! I just recently found out my crappy Norton service (which is usually crappy on EVERY computer) is expiring soon. First of all when it scans for viruses it finds nothing, even though there may be viruses acquired from the web I didn't know about. I know it's way too much to ask but is there a free, legal anti-virus software AND a free, legal firewall that's NOT a major computer-ruining virus? Just wondering.

Well Norton can be very effective but the problem with it is it requires such a powerful computer with lots of ram to run properly.

For free anti-virus software, try AVG, it does a pretty good job.
