The only games on that list I'm interested in are Zelda and maybe Dragon Quest X.

This may be something to think about. A rumor coming from the CEO of Ubisoft says that the Wii U is pushing the release date of the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4 to sooner than expected. I do not know whether to believe this is true or not because the Wii U, like the first Wii, basically sat on a different playing field than the competitor consoles.
