legacyme3 : Starting a different WR over Andre Johnson wouldn't haven done anything for me...Starting Akers would have won it for me. As for the Redskins defense....I wouldn't have changed that. That was my judgement call.

legacyme3 : You impacted a lot of stuff. If you would've tried that one week, I would've went to the Super Bowl and won it

Might have to make a rule against that kind of stuff next year though.

Than He Created David, But No One Would Believe,
That David Created Vizzed Board, Just For You And Me,
So Grab My Hand And Lets Be Friends, And We'll Head To The Land Of V

Davideo7 :   I think the reason you only won third place is because you had too many Packers players.  Since the Packers had a bad game in the playoffs of fantasy it cost you the championship.

Davideo7 :

I find it humorous. I didn't own any of the players on any of those lists.

Yet I somehow had the best overall running game in the league according to the Record Book

I hate that people keep saying leggy tried to throw that game...he didn't. It's kind of pathetic that it keeps getting brought up.

trouble982 : He did have the ability to win it though.

If he would've played BenJarvus Green-Ellis instead of Michael Bush, he would've earned an extra 4 points

If he would've played Rob Bironas instead of Nick Novak, he would've earned an extra 5 points

That would've been an extra 9 points and since he lost by 8 points, that would've been enough to make him win

Not to mention there were players that week he could've drafted to his team that could have helped him to win also.

Also, he only made 2 trades that week (and 1 of the trades was for a defense that he didn't play that week), he normally makes more trades than that during a week.  I think he wanted to keep the game close and wanted to still get a lot of points to add to his overall point count but he still appeared to have allowed you to win.

Davideo7 :

Basically. I just didn't want to completely "throw" it and have an even lower rank.

I was realistically aiming to lose by 10-15 points, so I was kind of surprised I got as close as I did.

Either way. It's done. The plan I went in with backfired, and I faced a tougher opponent than I could handle in the first round. Had I faced him in a later round, maybe I would have had a better chance. We won't truly ever know.

Anyway, looks like my first season of football went pretty well. Memo to self - Do not draft poorly again.

legacyme3 : With fantasy football, the smallest things can have a big impact.  For example, the week I lost in the playoffs, I had an RB on the bench that scored a TON of points and if I had played him that week, I would've won the super bowl.  It's stuff like that which makes decision making really hard lol.

mlb789 : Congratulations on winning the Vizzed Fantasy Football League of 2011.

At the end of the day, I am 7th place overall. If it was a Loser's Bracket, I am the champ of that. That was pretty fun to say the least. I look forward to playing next year.

Congrats mlb

I am pretty sure this has run it's course, but out of curiosity, did you win any other fantasy leagues you were in?

I usually lose my leagues, so I won one (this one) and I lost the other three.  So in general, I had a very good fantasy football league year all around.

I have gone 1, 4, 5, and 8 this year in my leagues.  The other three I didn't pay attention too, and one of them was a very weird league where you had 2-4 quarterbacks.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
