Two things- First of all, that background thing is also known as a post layout. This is a special privilege that only members who have a trusted status and up can get. In order to be trusted, you need at least 5 Trust Points from other members. And even after you're trusted, you need to have sufficient knowledge of html in order to code your layout properly so it doesn't screw up other people's posts (alternatively, you can get someone else to make a layout for you).

yousaf : This kind of thing is called HTML it is used for making layouts, images and websites you need to use these type of tags to do HTML stuff like this that would be able to change the font color of the text. e.g you see what I mean? to learn more you can go to W3Schools to help you with this. I'll explain pretty much everything in one post.

First of all, the graphic on posts is the layout background. These can be custom made in photoshop or taken off the internet. If you want to use a graphic you designed, first upload it (best to upload it to vizzed with the layout background upload thread). If you took it off the internet, just copy the url.

Once you have the url of your graphic, you just need to have the neccesary coding knowledge to do a layout. Generally, most layouts here use HTML alone, but a few layouts on site also use CSS, a slightly more advanced coding language that allows for more capacity.

I'm guessing since you are a newbie you don't know a whole ton of code. Therefor, you should ask a coding specialist, who designs layouts for other people, for help. Here are some people that make layouts.

Someone70 : I'm just a newbie myself but the layout manager that one only needs to have regular "Member" status to use a layout, but it's a limited one the only lets you put an image and some text as a header, footer and then a just a background in the main section. Kinda lame but at least it's something!
