This is a game in which you have to sign up to play. Signups closed a week ago.

Signups for round VI will begin when I feel like V will end.

10. Tree - You don't get to vote, but you are able to contribute to the game thread. You also can't be killed. So there's that.

11. Bad Cop - You work like the sheriff... but you get the opposite results. Not only that, but you are told you are the sheriff to start the game. You have no idea of knowing you are the bad cop until everyone knows basically. Otherwise, you function like a sheriff.

12. Border Patrol - You can choose any player to watch. You see where they go that night. It's pretty simple.

13. Forger - This functions in an odd way. You are on the mafia side, and you eliminate the need for two thugs. Why? Because you choose a person a night. If they die, you get to change the role that is shown on death. For example, if the mafia chose to kill a sheriff, you could make that person appear to be a bystander, a thug, mafia, or anything.

These are the new roles for next round.

ALSO, starting next round I will no longer give a role list at the start of the game. And not EVERY role will be used in every game. In fact, every game, one role WON'T be used, just to keep you on your toes.

I also change the Anarchist rules to reflect how the game works now. They can only steal normal bystanders, and only once every two days. If the leader dies, they remain anarchists, but cannot add more to their numbers.

Border patrol is basically an insomniac but with the power to choose who he gets information about.

Actually, the tree is meant as a decoy.

The bad cop and sheriff are both being changed a bit. The bad cop will always get mixed up roles, and the sheriff will now get DETAILED info on the player they investigate. However, with the bad cop, their information will be wrong and detailed.

Think of Insomniac as the guy who doesn't move and gets three rooms of info. The Border Patrol only hears one person a night, but can choose who.

Forger can if played right.

So the Mafia finally got Mors... I knew he was the Loose Cannon the moment I died, but I couldn't say anything. The Godfather got him though.

One last new role.

RESEARCHER - This role will basically confirm one person's claim. See, since no roles will be shown at the start of the game, you can claim to be anything. And there can be an instance with 2 or 3 cops... so this role can be very helpful in finding truth. But there's one downside to it.

First of all, your action is during the day. And not only that... but your actions is confirmed by me via post. For example. If the cop says silverthundr is mafia, the researcher can say he's investigating the person who claims to be the cop (via PM, you must send it to me before the end of the day round like the thug). Then, I will (in a post), declare the results of the investigation.

The result will be either TRUE or FALSE. And the researcher stays anon.

This can be both really helpful and really pointless, and turn the mafia to looking for you.

Suggestion - Color coding, sine you have to use ratios since you aren't using role lists since we are playing BLIND now.

Green is Town, Red is Mafya/Scum, Blue (Or you can use just about anything else) is Third Party roles, a.k.a. Cult ANARCHIST. This would hold (Serial) Killer, if we used that. Or other gimmicky stuff, I guess.

Also, yes, Role-Madness sounds fun. And was exactly what I wanted to do if/when I ever got to host it. Which will probably be never, because leggy is a greedy bastard(es).

Eventually, I'll be adding more and more wacky roles, and making the game a little more gimmicky in certain places.

I'd love it if we had over 20 people taking part in mafia that would be awesome.
