 Full Metal Alchemist,Fruits Basket,Ouran High School Host Club,Sonic x,and Kirby right back at ya,these where the shows that got me into Anime
When Naruto and One Piece Came to me I was really into anime,Then I realized that I officially love anime and anime video games.I Fell like a Ninja when I watch naruto,and I feel like a Pirate when I watch One Piece.It feels like I'm in the anime itself,don't know why it just does.

I wish it were something else, but I am pretty sure my first experience with anime was Sailor Moon. Flipping through channels as a kid, looking for something to watch, when lo and behold, a weirdly done cartoon showed up! Never found it very interesting, however, but I was at an age where I just liked seeing cartoons. It almost did not matter that I did not follow what was going on.

The first anime I can recall actually being INTO, though, would probably be Dragon Ball Z. Even my sister surprised me by getting into it, though I think that was her boyfriend-of-the-time's doing. I am not sure if I saw Dragon Ball Z before Pokémon though... I know I encountered Pokémon in middle school, but I cannot place when I started watching DBZ.
