My parents met when they were still children and my paternal grandfather and my maternal grandfather were hardcore collectors of games and arcades. Paternal grandpa ran an arcade back in the day so my parents saw each other often. They aren't together now but they were together long enough to have Azul, Roja, and me in that order.

My Mom moved from Florida to California around 1974 or 1975. She was first dating my Uncle, they weren't dating for long. My Uncle Robert had taken my Mom to my Dad's apartment to meet my Dad and I guess they hit it off better than my Mom and Uncle did. So then they dated for awhile and eventually moved in together. They were living together for about a year and then got married. A big mistake, my Mom would later find out. But she said she got us, her kids, our of it so it was worth it. But that's how my parents met.

I'm not sure how they met but a funny thing is that my mom's sister knew my dad before my mom did...wait. i think they met at a party or something like that.
