You have been CHOSEN! You have been chosen to explore Johto, get some badges, track down some scum bags, help out some very rare Pokemon, and kick some asses. I'm sure you're all very excited. Three rookies and three veterans. This'll be fun.

Rules below, ignore them if you've read the already, skip to bottom.

Battle System

If I say a wild Rattatta appears, someone will post and say:

"My _____ attacks using _____."

NOTE: Wild battles are first come, first serve. If you can get there first, you can battle. If I feel you've been battling too often in a row, I'll ask you to step aside and let someone else battle.

Battle will be more free flow, akin to the anime. Obvious wins will happen as they should (ie. Charmander VS. Caterpie)

Winning a battle nets +1 level up. If you're Pokemon participates in a double(or multi)/triple battle it will gain +2 levels.

If your Pokemon faints in battle, it will stay fainted until we get to a Pokemon Center, and it may not battle.

Special Events

Boss Battles, against Legendaries, powerful Pokemon, and evil humans, will have all Trainers working together to fight. They will be scripted for the most part, and will not use the above battle system.

Stats

Stats are rather simple. If you're Pokemon has a fairly high Attack and attacks a Pokemon with fairly low defense, it will deal more damage. Same with Special Attack. It's common sense really, .

Leveling Up and Learning Moves
If you win a battle, your Pokemon will go up one level. A Pokemon can use any move it could know up to that level, but may not use TM's and HM's or Egg Moves. Only natural level up moves.

Evolving
Pokemon will evolve via level up, with the appropriate stone, and at the right happiness. Trade evolutions will happen randomly. Feebas evolves when its pretty.

Items
First off, is evolution items. These will be found along the way, randomly for the most part. Next are Key Items, which will be found in set places during certain events, and these key items will be needed along the way. When it comes to HM's, you will find those too along the way. Back in my day we had to use the discs on Pokemon so they could use the moves, but nowadays, we just insert them into a machine. Unfortunately, I don't have the discs so we'll have to find them somehow, I guess.

Moving
We move when the group agrees we have finished an area. In a city, we may heal, which costs nothing and, in certain cities, challenge a gym. Gym battle wins award two levels per win, but only one member of the team may battle the gym leader, so don't argue over who gets to battle, because it's usually whoever gets there first (Just remember your type advantages!). To complete a region, we need to beat the Elite Four.

There's a copy of the help if you need them. All those words make it seem really complicated, but it isn't so bad. Nitori, Ben, and Warp are seasoned veterans so any questions you have, they can probably answer.

Hear are the Pokemon you've all chosen. Made in Japan. In a Daycare.

They're all level 1 and would know their special moves and any move that they would in Gen V at that level and moves indicated with a "Start". Consult Serebii or Bulbapedia.

Before we can battle, there's a certain system you need to follow. When a wild Pokemon decides to join us, it will usually go to whoever has it's group. These groups are as followed:

Fire, Poison, Dark

Electric, Bug, Electric

Fighting, Psychic, Steel

Ice, Ghost, +1 Type of choice and 1 dibs (gets to call dibs on one Pokemon, even if it isn't your type)

Rock, Grass, Flying

Ground, Water, Normal

Everyone pick a type.

I'll take the Ice, Ghost and dibs, just to get it out of the way, and for the dibs. As for the type of choice I'll take Normal.
