Taken from Wikipedia : " Dissidia: Final Fantasy is an action game currently in development by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable as part of the campaign of the Final Fantasy series 20th anniversary. Information on the game was first released during the "Square Enix Party" event of May 2007. It is unknown if the game will be released outside of Japan, although the trademark Dissidia was registered by Square Enix in North America on April 6, 2007. Dissidia: Final Fantasy's genre has been described as "dramatic progressive action" and its graphics will be in three dimensions.... " Basically, it will be a fighting game from what I can tell. I liked Erhgeiz, I remember buying it shortly after it came out. I just wish the quest mode in the game had you play with the FF7 characters instead of some characters you've never heard of, but the quest was also very fun but the main attraction in my opinion was the ability to fight with Final Fantasy 7 characters...it was especially cool playing with Cloud 
I remember reading about dissidia on IGN. As soon as more info is released on this new game I will like to here it. That would be stupid if Square Enix didn't give players a chance to play as one of the MAIN characters of each game.... Then again, they've done it before, but that game also lacked a ton of content. *cough* Ergheiz.

Mostly on old thread but since it hasn't hit the us yet I figure its still open. The Japanese version is a definite good 'en. My fav feature, you have to play story mode to unlock the villains of each game. Had a ball kicking Cloud around as Sephiroth. -------------------- |

For me, Dissidia is a very good game, but it can be annoying at the end, when you choose to level up to level 100 all the characters (especially those you hate)
So, for non-SE/FF-fans, this game will be boring for you, you will finish the game and rarely play it again For SE/FF fans, this is one of the best psp-games ever with Crisis core and Birth by sleep, BUY IT ! I have played the game and it was really pretty good, i thaught "nng again a game without retro battle system" but after seeing Squall, Cecil and the whole other Heros, the only thing which i find boring, is that it gives only 1 female hero (sry bad english^^)
