I've been trying to config my PC game controller to play the SNES games and I follow the steps to get the menu up, but once it's open, I have no clue how to config the controls so I can use my game controller. I hope this makes sense. Can someone please help me out and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Usually with this problem for a controller for SNES, going to fullscreen allows configuring, but refer to this page:

tRIUNE : I'm following the steps as best as I can and I kind of don't understand them. And it's still not working. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Firstly, are you able to use the controller for other systems in the RGR?

This link provides a tutorial to configuring the keys:
http://www.fantasyanime.com/emuhelp/emuhelp_zsnes.htm#buttons

This will explain the fullscreen, you can use the arrow keys and the Enter key to select if your mouse isn't responding (this is a solution for some because the bug from the mouse is in windowed mode):
http://www.fantasyanime.com/emuhelp/emuhelp_zsnes.htm#fullscreen

If you're not able to configure them after trying the solutions I've suggested, then you just might not be able to... I know from talking with people about this subject that those solutions have worked for a lot of people, but there are some people, depending on your operating system and internet browser (I'd shoot for Firefox being the most compatible), that it just won't work.

Possibly someone else will have a better solution... I've noticed people talking about it in this thread:
