hey, im considering formatting my hard drive and installing ubuntu. however, i love the rpg maker series (its the only reason i still havent made the jump to ubuntu) and ive been wondering if theres a linux edition of any of the rpg makers? or can you possibly run it under WINE? thanks for the help!

ah well, i guess i just dig an older computer out of the garage, set it up with winxp, firefox, and all the rpg makers; but then use my other computer for everything else.

Ubuntu isnt worth replacing XP for.
I had a friend that told me you can get any Win app to run in linux, it just takes some time to fiddle around with all the extra files you have to place and link and whatever.

If i were you, id install ubuntu on the spare computer .
You could install both on the one computer though..
