I opened up my own ebay store and just though I'd share it with you all

It costs about $15 a month. I opened it up for 2 reasons:

My dad is a die hard video game collector and bought a 40 inch lcd tv recently and needed to pay it off and so he's given me a ton of games (which i get a ton of profit for) to sell off ebay. I've got some pretty rare stuff in the store right now too (which includes game boy light, neo geo pocket, etc).

Other reason is to sell pokemon cards. Surprisingly, it's the number 1 selling card on ebay, and it's an easy way to make a little extra money (on top of my current full time job as a web designer). I ordered a ton of cards and only about 10% of them are up right now. My strategy is to be sure that my cards are cheaper than any other card on ebay. So if someone searchs for a specific card that I have in my store, chances are, mine will be the cheapest available which increases the chance of them choosing to buy that 1 card from me. It all sounds crazy but it is making me some money (very slowly anyway).

I spent a few hours on the logo. Found images of pokemon and put a few in the image, gave the image depth by blurring out the background, making things in the background smaller (including grass), and giving everything shadows. Also I turned the Poke-Mart into an Ebay store (blurred in the background)

Are you currently making your $15 a month back?

Of course, did you even see my items? lol.

I never even went to the store, Ill look now though :p.

Yeah, you have heaps of stuff there. You's must have had heaps of GB stuff there.

Well when you have a game collector for a dad whose got well over 2000 video games, you've got a lot of different things you can sell

Well give us a heads up when you have some nice video games on there. In my humble opinion Ebay takes a little bit too much money off the top.

Right now the only games I've got are basically game boy/color related. Starting next week I'll have tons of Game Boy Advance games and possibly Playstation games after that.

Ebay does make to much money and now Paypal makes me mad because they over charge on sending money with them.

I added about 60 game boy advance games recently and still have about 150 more to add. Not sure if anyone is into GBA games but for vizzed board members only, if you purchase more than 1 GBA game, each additional game you can have free shipping.

My dad has 200 new vinyl records, so we're gonna get some serious cash after setting up an Ebay account
