So, once in a while, my one of my internet windows will end up going gray with a picture of a file with x's over it's eyes. Sometimes it has a bullet hole in it. Below it, it says 'It's Dead Jim'. This is what it looks like.

When this happens, it ends up closing ALL open Internet windows. Sometimes, it restarts my computer. I looked it up, and it turns out it isn't a virus. It is a little thing Google Chrome use to pop up when a tab crashes. The He's Dead Jim is a little joke as it is some Star Trek quote, or something. The thing that gets me is that I pretty much never had tab crashes with Google Chrome until they made this little window pop up to let you know your tab has crashed. Makes me think that it somehow is partly responsible for the tab crashing. 

What really sucks is that I rarely get it, but the times I do is when I use the Retro Game Room Java plugin to compete for a high score. If the window is open for a really long time, it will eventually crash on me, erasing all score progress I made. Anyone know if there is something I can do to keep this stupid thing from showing up?

Well I get it on google chrome. But it's no virus or anything it's just that the page has crashed. It's normal so there's nothing to worry about just close your browser and start whatever you were doing again.

I only get that when I shut my computer down while Chrome is open. Other than that, your memory might be running low. I suggest you delete things you don't need from your memory.

Galacta : When you say memory, do you mean with my laptop in general, or clear up memory with the google chrome operating system? If you mean the second one, how do I do that? As far as my laptop goes, I haven't even used half of my memory yet
