Silent Hill. I recently got into System Shock, and I wish there was a true third game to that series. I only have the first one on my computer, sadly. I wish I had the second one on there. It's not that scary, but it's immersive, and there's tons of unholy creations all over cyberspace, the game's setting. It's hard for me to hate.

I really like Bio Shock if that counts. I think it is one of the greatest games of all time let alone of any series. I just love the fact that they are so fun and a little scary!

Resident Evil definitely. I've only ever played on the mercenaries myself, but I've watched my fiance play all of the Resident Evil games before and they are amazing.  The only thing I didn't like was Sheva from five.  I wanted to kill her, but then I'd get a game over.  Stupid npc.
