If they were making a PS4 already, they'd be alienating their entire audience...

The PS3 still has life in it, and Sony has a tendency to pump all the life out of a system before moving on. They did it with the PS2, and they will do it with the PS3.

It's way too early for a PS4. Sony is just now playing catch up by coming out with better games. Besides if it was out early, I don't think it would sell. I agree though, I would give it until 2016 or 2017 for Sony to decide on a PS4. I will say this though, if and when they begin development on it they should ask for user feedback to insure that it turns out better than it's predecessor.
