In this review, I shall talk about the game known as Super Mario World. It is fun as you can imagine in a game, and quite possibly one of the most famous games in the Super Nintendo era. Now, I shall start the classic known only as Super Mario World. The True Classic.

DIFFICULTY: 5
This game isn't very hard at all, even though it does get its frustrating moments, it doesn't seem too bad once you get down to it. It isn't hard if you've played it many times, but it CAN frustrate you if its the first time you play this. To play this right, you will need to know all of its tricks and super secrets. Because there are plenty of secrets in this game, you'll be searching for hours if you want to beat the game 100%.

DEPTH: 7
This game is very long if you are going for the 100% completion with EVERY SECRET. There are 97 levels in the ENTIRE game, or something like that. Close to 100 but its not that many. There are at least 10 levels in each world or something, which will take a while if you're taking your time. I beat the game in about 3 or 4 days without the full run, the FULL game completion took me about 1 week or something to accomplish, which is relatively fast. It might take you at least a few weeks to finish it yourself.

STORY: 7
The story is pretty interesting for a Mario game, and here is the rather different story: After saving the Mushroom Kingdom, brothers Mario and Luigi agree to take a vacation to a place called Dinosaur Land, where there are many types of dinosaurs. However, while resting in the beach, Princess Toadstool disappears. When Mario and Luigi wake up they try to find her and, after hours of searching, come across a giant egg in the forest. It suddenly hatches and out of it comes a young dinosaur named Yoshi, who then tells them that his dinosaur friends have also been imprisoned in eggs by evil turtles. Mario and Luigi soon realize that it must be the evil King Koopa Bowser and his Koopalings.
It isn't the mushroom kingdom, its an island. And somehow bowser is on there...coinsidence?

ADDICTIVENESS: 10
This game I can garantee that you will love to play over and over and over again. Its 16 bit GOLD I tell you! Seriously, you will definitely appreciate how good this game is in its playthrough, its multiplayer as well, so you can play with your friends and cooperate to beat the game as fast as you can if you wanted to. Gameplay, Graphics, Music, etc. All Perfection imo.

SOUND: 8
It has quite a few memerable music, sound fx, etc. in this game, mostly the epic music in this game, it has been overrated for some time, but for good reason! It has quite a stock for it. This game has the games that have the boings and attack fx that you will remember for a long. long. long. time. I garantee that.

GRAPHICS: 9
The graphics can be summed up to one word: Classic, you can't really go wrong with these 16 bit classic. The game is so fun with its background stuff, and the design on Mario's stuff. So, you can go ahead and appreciate the duck out of this.

OVERALL: 9.5
Overall this game is soooooo fun to play, I loved this game for about 5 to 8 years, yeah, thats how retro I really am. So if I were u, I would go to the RGR and play this NOW!

Super Mario World is by no doubt, my childhood game. I've been playing this game literally longer then I could remember; I can remember a little after I turned 3 other then a few fragments that are here or there. Is it strange that a 3 year old back then played a heck of a lot better then some of the people I see today?

I played this game too much for my own good. I dreamt about it every night. In fact, I played it so much, the poor save chip in the cartridge got too hot, and melted off. I must have spent a good 3000 hours of my childhood on that game alone; and that's just a very very rough estimate.
