Day 8: The Haunting Dead

Well I regret to inform you that someone has starved to death

Bigbob made an attempt to steal Vash's rations but Vash being as clever as he is, knew Bigbob would steal from him so Vash defended against bigbob which resulted in Vash taking Bigbob's last ration.

The castaways have encountered a ghost, and he's slowly sucking the life out of each member. The only way to stop him is to find out which gravestone he was burried under, and to throw his casket out into the ocean.

You get only 3 guesses, and you lose 1/3 (rounded up on decimals) of your total health each time you get it wrong, and if you get it wrong all 3 times, you're a goner (unless everyone for some reason gets it wrong all 3 times, than just the person with the lowest health is a goner).

He was also nice enough to let you guys ask him 3 questions, which were:

IceWave: "Were you single?"
"I had a wife, she was burried next to me"

MichaelVash: "How did you die?"
"A man broke into our house in the night and killed my wife. I tried to fight him off, but he than killed me..."

Neojazex: "Do you know anyone else burried here?"
"My brothers 2 kids, a boy and a girl, were in his house when it went up in flames, he tried to save them but also burnt to death - He died when I was younger. Also, my son lived a full life."

Observational notes obtained from the content on the gravestones:
-The people are burried in order of their death; starting from top left, going across to the right and that starting over again to the next row. So in other words, A1 died, than B1, C1, D1, E1, than A2, B2, etc...

A1 reads: 1671
Column C appears to contain all the women who died in teh grave yard; the rest were men
E4 reads: 1889


Now based on this information, you'll only be able to break it down to 2 gravestones. This Day requires some skill (though it's not that hard) and some luck. So if you are able to pinpoint the 2 possible graves, you'll be taking a 50% chance with your 1st guess, and 50% chance with your 2nd.

Remember, you get 3 guesses! And if you get it right on your first guess, the following guesses wont be used (same applies for your 2nd guess).


Note-Rations were taken out because they no longer are needed.

I used a medkit during the rounds.

Ok I just factored that in. Even if you hadn't, you can still use potions by saying you want to use them in this thread.

How shall we figure out a tie breaker?
We have 3 options:
Poll the board (you guys would be in charge of trying to get people to vote for you). I'd create a Poll thread in which people could choose one of you.
or
Battle Arena (each would play 2 battles).
or
Have a poll and whichever 2 have the highest votes battle it out in arena.

Discuss and decide.

i vote three way battle, same rules as normal battle turn based based upon speed. Person can choose to attack who ever they like. That sort of thing works well for me, and it shouldnt be up to the people on the forum to vote because its a 'survival' contest, not a 'popularity' contest.

Everyone battles, battles based upon speed (slowest first or fastes first, winner fights remainder.) works better if the slowest people fight first.

Each person does two battles. I fight Neo and IW, IW fights Neo and me, Neo fights IW and me. That gets my vote. That grand battle thing would be ok too.

But it should start immediately.

Should just do a 3 way battle, Vash vs IW + Neo, sounds fair to me.

does it really matter, if its a battle, vash wins as i dont think we can do any damage to him at all cause of his monstrous defence, that and his monstrous attack

Well the "popularity" contest isn't necessarily all about popularity, but rather about who can get the most people to vote for them (sort of like an election).


So based on what you guys have said, we have 2 choices:

1. M.Vash vs IceWave vs Neojazex (3 way)

or

2. M.Vash vs IceWave - IceWave vs Neojazex - Neojaex vs M.Vash (whoever has most wins...wins).


You guys can vote (excluding the ghost of bigbob ). Since there's only 3 of you voting, whichever gets the most votes we'll do.

i vote for save time and just assume that the results will indeed be vash 1st IW 2nd and myself 3rd - everyone can see it coming... unless IW wants to fight vash... i'd forfiet my two fights anyway
