The last movie I watched was Dr. Strange and its effects were beautiful and amazing! The entire story was also full of symbolism, which is always a plus in my book, so at some point, I'll be watching the movie again to make sure I understood all of its references.  I wonder if I'm the only one that was sort of reminded of Inception...

   The last movie I have seen was in theaters.  I had the pleasure of watching a very depressing Logan.  It's about an aging Wolverine of the former X-Men.  Great movie if you like lots of blood and swearing and little girls that kick much a.... butt.  Kind of sad but action packed the whole way through.  Makes me want to see the first Wolverine movie now just so I can kind of understand what led up to this point.  And What did Charles Xavier do in the previous movie to have hurt so many people that he can't remember?  Anyway, it was a great movie to watch once, but once was enough for me.

The last movie I watched was Ant-Man. My friends had been telling me to watch this movie for a while now, but I prioritized other films since I heard that the movie did not address a lot of issues with the concepts that it was trying to present. Now that I've seen the film, I can say that it was enjoyable as long as one didn't think too hard about everything (don't overanalyze the roles of the ants). ^^0;;

The last movie I saw was Kong: Skull Island, and it was pretty spectacular.

It had plenty of action, some truly funny elements, and a great soundtrack, as well.

I would recommend seeing this one on an IMAX screen, if at all possible, as it really helps the viewer appreciate the massive size of Kong.

The last movie I watched was Hero (2002), a story about stories. I decided to watch this film because it had martial arts in it and Jet Li.  Personally, I have yet to see any special (visual) effects in martial arts films successfully replace/replicate the beautiful movements from artists like Jet Li. I love his form and how he swiftly executes every movement with precision, power and grace. =)

The last movie I watched was Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Lovely as the special effects were, the storyline seemed to go off on too many tangents all at once, and overall, it felt like they didn't really explain anything at all in the film. By the end of the movie, I was still wondering what the "Fantastic Beasts" were and "where to find them." rofl It really felt like they tried to cram too much into the film so that in the end, nothing was adequately addressed. Not to mention any spoilers, but I personally felt that at least one of the branches/stories in the movie could have been completely removed from the film and the movie would still have been fine, if not better because then the story/plot wouldn't have been/felt so scattered.
