We rented Ted 2 last week. If you are into toilet humor (including a visit to a sperm bank) and completely useless scenes (throwing apples at joggers, Liam Nieson wondering if Trix can be bought by adults), then you will have a good time. Otherwise, skip this white-trash movie whose main "story" (Teddy wanting to be recognized as a human) was much inferior to Short Circuit II

The last movie I watched was Dumb and Dumber To. The long past due sequel to the CLASSIC 90's original.

It took me awhile to get around to actually watching this, because I heard that it didn't do the original justice. Honestly this movie probably came out 15-18 years too late.

The movie really dragged on up until they finally set off on their cross country journey. Although I admit there were some really funny scenes, overall the movie was only So-So. There were a lot of jokes that just bombed. Mediocre at best. And this is coming from someone that LOVES the original movie.

I give it a 6.8/10

Jordanv78 : I think the problem was simply because how much time has passed between the two. I'm pretty certain that if the exact same movie with the same jokes and everything was released just a couple years after the original, I think it would have fared much better.

On Rotten tomatoes, the movie did get like a 30% score.

zanderlex : Although I agree in some respect, I feel like the movie just doesn't have the same magic as the original. Based on watching the original movie so many times I lost count, and after reading a lot about the movies creation/filming/etc a lot of what made the original movie great as the things that Daniels and Carey Ad-libbed or freestyled.

Don't get me wrong, there were some HILARIOUS jokes, but others were just dumb. Like basically the whole opening sequence. Honestly most people that don't know anything about the original probably couldn't make it through the first 15-30 mins of the movie before they actually get on the road on their journey.

Jordanv78 : Yeah, I didn't like the opening, I know we eventually learn that it's a huge part of the plot, but I don't see why they had to do all that, I'm sure that they could have done a better job connecting what they did with the actual story.

Considering I am a huge horror fan I thought it would be fun to binge Scream movies but sadly netflix only the second even so, it was a very well done sequel considering most sequels aren't usually that good this one had a nice twist and I love Scream anyway. Even if you didn't watch the first it still gives you a lot of background on what happened so you aren't confused.

One of the middle schools here recently played the movie Woodlawn at my school for anyone to freely watch.  It was pretty awesome because my school has an auditorium that isn't much different from a theatre room.  My husband and I invited his family and had a nice date out. I had been interested in the movie before, because we lived RIGHT across from the school that the movie was about and filmed at.  How we never knew that big actors were around, I'll never know. haha.

The movie was the first one I had seen in absolute ages, and I have to say, it was WAY better than I thought it would be.  It was also very nice to have a date with my husband.  We brought Joel with us, but being his first movie... we were a little nervous about how he would handle it.  He actually handled it VERY well and remained enthralled with the bright lights for about 30 minutes before he passed out.  Despite how loud the movie got, too, he never woke or seemed unhappy.  Being able to watch that movie with baby Joel asleep in my arms was incredible and is definitely a memory I will cherish.

Recently watched the movie Creed. I was expecting a modern version of the original Rocky but what I got was actually somewhat different, did have fight scenes but was also largely a drama focusing on Apollo Creed's son trying to make a name for himself as a boxer in stead of constantly being compared to his dad. I liked it and would've never figured Sylvester Stallone could pull off the supporting role he did. If anyone here has been thinking of seeing but isn't sure I'd definitely recommend it, just keep in mind that it's probably not entirely what you expect.

Stephen :   The last movie I saw was last night, and my wife and I went to see Deadpool.  I have to admit that it was a great movie, and hilarious.  NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 18!!!!!!!!!!!!  To all the adults however, even if you are not a Marvel fan, or even a Ryan Reynolds fan, but you love gratuitous violence and swearing, and almost non stop humor, I would recommend this movie.  AGAIN...NOT FOR KIDS!!!!!

Last night I watched Scarface. I've always had a thing for the 80s, and this flick hooked me not just with that decade-based vibe but also its sheer charisma and raw brutality.

There are few films that can seamlessly blend chainsaw murder scenes with epic 80s montages. It's something only Brian de Palma could pull off.

Last thing I watched was that new James Bond movie, Spectre. It was pretty good, but I thought it was average for a Bond film.

The last movie I watched was one of my favorite movies of all time. The Karate Kid THE ORIGINAL released in 1984 Starring Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita, and Elisabeth Shue. A great story about a kid who moves to a new state and immediately gets bullied by the local kids. Trains for a Karate tournament and prevails even against the odds. I give it a solid 8.8/10 although I admit that nostalgia of growing up with the movie comes into play.

The last few movies I have seen......The Gambler (2014) about a lit professor who leads a double life as a high stakes gambler....gets in deep and risks it all to save himself and a hot blond girl....stars Mark Wahlberg.....7.5.  Mad Max:  Fury Road (2015) stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.  This was a badass movie from start to finish...action...special effects...awesome...9.  Lastly....a movie I wouldn't normally have watched but my epix free month is expiring and I am trying to catch a lot of movies before it does.  Anyways.....Maggie (2015)....it's like a zombie movie that I have never seen before where someone gets bitten and it's a way longer drawn out process of turning....so you can actually goodbye to the people in your life....which was kinda cool......7.....stars Arnold and that girl from little miss sunshine...can't remember the name.  I would definitely try to see the 1st 2...but if your a zombie fanatic.....Maggie...might be for you......Enjoy all.

I don't go to the movies very often but the last movie I went to go see was The Boy about a month or so ago. It got a lot of bad reviews which is understandable due to the cheesy jump scares but I really enjoyed the movie and I thought it had an interesting twist that really ties everything in the movie together. It definitely wasn't one of the best movies I've seen but it's a fun one to watch with your friends.

The last movie that I've seen was Race, with Stephen James and Jason Sudeikis. It was pretty good, and was historically accurate with the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

Funny enough, the last movie I watched was Karate Kid Part 2, which I had DVR'd and I watched this morning.

Although I don't like it NEARLY as much as the original, I still enjoy it. It's a solid movie.

I would give it a 7.7/10

The last movies I have seen.....The Boy (2015) about a 9 year old sociopath who becomes increasingly intrigued by death.  It was alright....the end was really hardcore though...made it worth the watch.  The Hybrid (2014)  Mercs take over a lab that is involved with intertwining alien and human dna.....monsters everywhere....British....if it's on watch it...but I wouldn't search it out.  Cop Car (2015) a whole series of messed up events occur when 2 young boys steal a cop car......it was decent but started really slow....stars Kevin Bacon.  And lastly.....the 1st 2 terminators....I haven't seen the newest one but these were on one after the other the other day....I decided to watch them...still definitely cool...I might try to see genesys soon.  Enjoy all.
