Spam bots are serious they can sign up get in and spam on all forums and worst they can hack your account and spam so you can get a ban from the spam bots this can be prevented by doing the following
I want every single user on this board to here this including the owner

1.Spam check:Will pm this to the owner after this.This will check to see if you got hacked

2.PM your account information to someone:This is handy if your going out of town and staying at a place with no internet or don't want to get on they can spam check your account PM you the results of the spam check(Only PM your account info to someone you really really really really really really really trust only)

3.PM the moderatorsM them after the spam check to see if they can catch them

i understand this is your first post, ive been away for 2 days but so far theres no hackers on this site, i thought there was but it was probs just a cookie grabber the worst thing to do is tell someone your info even if you trust em it would be easier to write it down and i wouldnt pm davideo7 unless you wann abug people on purpose. so far i dont think there have been any spam bots at all. But your third ting was right if you actually do think your being hacked get in touch wit ha moderator. anyway post a bit learn a bit more about the site and yeah dont pm david lol

Unfortunately, this isn't really needed, seeing as we don't have any issues right this second. The server is being transfered, so the site is a little slow right now.

Now...

I would advise everyone, including you Jakob to not do what he says.

If a spam bot registers, they will be caught pretty quickly. The moderators don't let a whole ton just go unnoticed after all.

I think you are confusing spam bots and hackers.

Well spam bots can hack into your account to because they can  guess a user name and the password of someone on here then post lots of threads so the user he hacked can get banned

Unless your password is like 123456 or qwerty it'd be practically impossible for someone to guess your pass.

I suppose someone could inject SQL to reveal passwords, seeing as this board has some Acmlmboard code in it and Acmlmboard software is awfully flimsy. However, I'm pretty sure passwords here are encrypted with MD5 or Base64, which cannot be de-coded.
