So Ive been wondering this for some time and want to ask why the Game boy color saves a lot and sometimes freezes up? I'm sorry if someone else has made a thread about this and I did not see it.

If you report stuff like this to a mediator, I am sure that they could help you out. You probably knew this already but to save games, press F2 when you are ready to save and then the next time you hop on to the game that you saved on, press F4 to load your saved data and keep playing.

Well I'm not sure if the game boy color must save the game more often because it has an auto-save option on it or if the game itself is harder to save unlike the newer games where it is not so tough to save. I am also not sure if it is for the RGR since that no one I know have said anything about this.

pickachu52 : Well are that is kind of normal most people that make the emulators for game boy and game boy advance AND game boy color do that. You can usually set it off in the options.

It isn't actually saving (if you didn't figure that out yet). I played some of Pokémon Yellow before I got sick of it. It seems like it was just lagging and it used "Saving" as a message for why it was paused.
