Maybe a super noobtastic thing to say but where are the profile comments? I was looking and can not seem to find them any where and believe me I have the profile comments enabled... are they gone?

If so why is the profile comments thing being able to turn on and off?

they have been disabled because members were using them as a place to flame each other and there is no way to delete or otherwise control the comments section.

However I do believe that David is working on this feature (or planning to) in order to fix it so that it can't be abused like it was.
