So, after a poor choice and a good year of suffering, I am getting rid of my old Motorola Backflip and getting a Droid X2.

For those that do not know, the Backflip is the ultimate incarnation of evil on this earth. I am not kidding. I ABHOR this phone.

Now I have the daunting task of figuring out how I want to dispose of this most hated object. My rational mind tells me that I should have it recycled, and in all reality this is what I am going to do.

My Irrational mind however, has other ideas. Things like... oh... smashing it to pieces with a sledgehammer. Burning it to ensure it shall never rise from the dead. Shooting it. Stomping it to pieces, throwing it into a lake tied to a cinder block, and other such fun things.

So I ask you, oh awesome members of Geeogree's private forum, what creative ideas have you had to get rid of such a hated electronic object in your lives? Or, what fun things can you think of to do with mine? Consider this you place to vent frustrations at the technology that drives you batty.

I have a simple solution for this...

For your irrational mind, firstly smash it to the point of no return. 
Then.
For your rational mind, recycle it anyway!

I really want to smash my phone on ground.
It freezes all the time and is soo stupid.
But it's all i can afford right now.
But it's going to be destroyed once i get
enough money for a new phone.

Hmm...

Perhaps you can throw it at the bottom of a lake?
OR maybe smash it to pieces and bury it?

What do you think of the feasibility of launching it into space?

Any possibility of launching that thing into space went up with the Space Shuttle Atlantis. If you ask me, the best way to destroy something and release your fury at the same time would be a swing a good ol' sledgehammer. One well aimed swing with all your might! If you do not want to use physical strength, blow that thing up. Maybe even turn that cell phone into a bomb like the one The Joker used in The Dark Knight.

I am only double-posting to make something clear, because that last thing I want to look like is a sadistic freak. Turn that phone into a bomb, but do not stick it in someone's stomach. Okay? Glad to clear things up.

I would used a hammer to smash it to pieces,

) and then I would give it for recycling ( 'cause I care for the environment after all,lol)

A new thought, replacing a baseball with the phone for a game... I am sure a bat swung full force would act nicely on it.

Crap cell phone + AK-47 = Total Destruction.

the first thought that came to mind was blender.... but I'm not sure if you want to potentially ruin your blender just to destroy a phone.

geeogree : It is tempting... but yeah, I am rather fond of my blender. Now, if I were to get a new blender then perhaps. Hmmmm.....

Attach it to some fire works and see it explode~  You get a nice show too!  I wonder if that would work?

Or I'd buy some acid and just melt that thing down~

Another thing is for major explosion to plug a microwave outside and nuke your cell phone in it~

If I had a junk microwave I might consider that one... though fireworks sounds much nicer. At the very least you get a pretty show and it gets dropped from a high place.

You could always put it in a model rocket, attach about a dozen or so Cherry Bombs to it and rig the fuses with the rocket fuse somehow, take it out into the middle of nowhere and set it off.
