Well I wrote this poem as pacman1755 said I should write one about nature as I could not think of a theme to write one about,
If you have any suggestions on what to write a poem about I will gladly try to write one, Also any criticisms or praise would be appreciated

I am in a forest all alone,The trees towering above me
They reach into the sky, Making me feel ever so small
A safe place for birds, and the small creatures of prey
It’s a shame these trees will be destroyed just for a mall

All I can hear is hundreds of birds singing there lovely songs
They glide around oblivious to the danger that is about to come
Without the birds all there would be is a depressing silence
Destroying forests and their homes is just simply dumb

I see rabbits running around happily and carefree
Unable to defend themselves against the humans who arrive
We just crush their homes, so we can build ourselves a new road
Whilst all they can do is run for their lives and try to survive

How would you like it, if your home was burnt to the ground
With no way to stop the fires as they spread throughout the land
Helpless whilst you have to watch your life be destroyed
What is the point of destroying nature to save a few grand?

We need to preserve the earths beautiful nature before it is too late
Some people trying to protect nature end up in a cell
We may replant the trees, but often forget about the animals who lived off it
We need to stop before the world becomes an industrial metal hell
