The newbie thread; compulsory, incomprehensible at times and plain quiet in itself.

Well, if you're used to signing onto forums maybe you'd be used to it. I'm not one of them.
Right, so I do like the proper spelling/grammar thing going on for these posts. It's cool, nice to know I won't be squinting at text speak. That does make errors on the site itself stand out but there you go. I'll be quiet about that - It just annoys me to no end. I took a small job proofing for a friend, since I'd be fixing the spelling/grammar mistakes in my head anyway (she runs a fan mag).
Hobbies (does anyone read these?); reading, writing, drawing, games (Though only really recently. Now and again I'd play, but I've recently been freed from my educational bonds and have since played a lot more), and I have a severe weakness for role play too.
How did I get here.. Looking for games I could play online with a wide... selection, on site. I'm hoping I've found it.
That's about it I think. I'll stop typing now~

Do not fret over the spell check. You are only required to do so when you are considered a newbie. If you make ten posts and have been a member for at least one week, you will reach normal member status. I sometimes have to do the spell check myself after using what we have here, but I am not complaining.

What do you like to read? My favorite books include The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings to name just two.

Ooh, fantasy then. Cool. Unfortunately, I've read neither The Lord Of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia. Planning on read LoTR at some point soon for sure. I should probably read The Chronicles of Narnia. I recently read A Game of Thrones, and I absolutely adore that, I'm getting the next book soon, (I should really check what the tv series has done for it). I found myself caught up in a lot of Darren Shan's stuff for a while, particularly the Demonata series. Catherine Webb's first two series (plural??) I found very good. I love Lewis Carroll too. I tend to jump from author to author.

Ah something shameful at my local library; I was looking for a Dostoevsky to read (Ended up finding Crime and Punishment), but I asked what Russian authors they had. What answer did I get?
"Oh like J.R.R. Tolkein?"
.....  ... Yes, the librarians are well read indeed.

Well now. It's good to see someone that likes to actually write instead of text talking. It does get quite annoying at times and you seem a bit organize just by reading your introduction (Newbie thread) Other than the strict rules here. Which is understandable for certain reasons.
