I'm playing Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, and I have saved and loaded the game many times, but now this message shows up at the bottom instead: "Saved state download failed!"
I have never saved by using the F2 key (and I haven't loaded this way, either) - could this be the reason?
Is there any way to restore my game?

Well, from what I know you have to save the game using F2 and load the save file with F4. If you saved in game it might not always load properly. I'm not sure if this is 100% true, but it seems to work for me.
