Some experts say that the earth is about 2.6 billion years old, but you can't really be sure if thats true or not, it can be even older. There is absolutely no proof of the exact date of the earth. The date that we assume is just a prediction since we found fossils that are a billion years old

I think the Earth was created 70 billion years ago and in that time, a whole lot has changed.

So many years that it's OVER 9000!

According to some religions, it's about 10003 years old.

In reality, it's about 100 billion years old.

I've read that it's around 4 billion years ago. I don't know for sure, though. =| I'm not sure if there's any proof of its age, besides maybe fossils we've found. 

It's hard to discover how old the Earth is but scientists have estimated that it's around 4 billion years old.

Going with the standard 4.5 billion+ estimate. Scientists have pretty much figured out though, it's not that hard to date a giant rock moving through space.

Seriously I think it has to be higher than 4.6 billion. Not too much higher but that seems a little short to me, hard to explain.

The earth is millions of years old. It was once unlivable, and then, by theory, the arrangement of the atoms/molecules made life sustainable, and thus, beginning millions of years of evolution.

When we were doing astronomy in science, my science teacher taught us to always laugh at any numbers you hear- how many stars there are, how old is the universe, Earth the moon etc-. Because really, THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW WITH OUR CURRENT TECHNOLOGY!!!!
A hundred years ago the common belief was that evolution (For example) started only a few hundred thousand years ago. Then over time it got older and older as we discovered more prehistoric animals. Then as we changed how long since evolution started all the astronomers said "Hey wait, if evolution started a few million years ago and we think the Earth was created millions of years before that, can't be right." So they got some idea that the Earth was maybe a hundred million years older than that. And so on and so on as biologists and astronomers and palaeontologists discovered new things they changed the age of the universe, dinosaurs, Earth, Sun. Moon etc.
SO... To answer your question, No one knows. There are theories, but until they can be proved they will remain as so.

The age of the Earth is a mystery, Some people say it's billions of years old, some people say trillions. We won't ever really know, though. For there has been many things to live on this planet and die on this planet. Due to the fact that all seven continent's used to be connected into one, called "Pangea", and they are all floating away from each other, but at the same time, closer to each other. With my educated guess I would be guessing that the age of Earth would be approximately 2,351,521,102,012.25203457 to 5,245,025,351,213.253436532020003 years old. It took me three hours to do the math, and I myself still have nothing to be able to turn up. Basically, The Earth is within 2 trillion to 5 trillion years old. There is proof that it is millions of years old so I cant argue with proof and evidence. If you think the earth is only thousands of years old then that's your problem. 

No one could say how old the Earth is , no one lived more longer than the earth .. But if i can guess , i say that the earth is about 100 million years alive .

i would say about 1 billion thinking how long it would take for  the human speices to deveolpoe

Earth? Well earth is a very old place, Its older than me you and the rest of the people on here, and on this website.
