Hello! I am Shogun Gamer, or that's how I shall be known on this interesting website. I really like Vizzzed's selection of video games, and surprisingly enough, I never thought I'd come across a few rare games that I'd never find.  Anyway, I never knew anything about this website until I was searching for SD Hiryuu No Ken Densetsu. I clicked on every link just trying to find a Rom for the game, and all the sudden, this site pops up telling me I can play the game directly from the site. However, after I got the plugin, guess what. It didn't work. But either way, I am still pleased to try some other games I've always been curious about as to game play, etc.Ok,  now allow me to discuss the rules of the site, or at least my opinion of them. They are quite scary, but then at the same time, I feel so safe. What I mean by scary is, I am so afraid of making any kind of mistake in a forum and then getting banned for that accidental mistake. I guess being a newbie might help show that I'm still trying to become accustomed and all, but I really feel like I'm going to get shot down by moderators for even the tiniest, accidental, innocent, mistake. Other than that, I also know I'll be in a friendly, family, environment which vizzed.com supports. But I still don't feel safe with moderators. What I mean by this is, I just hope they aren't strict and mean when you make a mistake, and I only hope they can understand that there are many whom are fearful of the Internet or simply are innocent to a mistake they have no experience with. Experience is key, but without fair lessons and kind warnings, mistakes are bound to be repeated. I know of course to check help forums and rules of different sub-forums before I create a thread so I know if the thread would belong there or not, but I fear misunderstanding of guidance and accidentally posting in the wrong sub-forum.Now a little about me. As you already know...I sometimes just love to write and type, and I might even go as far to create an essay out of this newbie post...but I won't do that. I love writing stories, but I won't tell you what they are about and please don't try to find out and stalk my information. Jazz music is quite a wonderful sound to my ears, and no, not smooth jazz, I mean real jazz. Jazz has many different genres, one of my favorites being Latin Jazz, and my other top favorite is Bebop. I was playing video games from a young age, and ever since, I became quite interested in becoming a video game designer. If I do become a video game designer, like Hideo Kojima, or Shigeru Miyamoto, I really hope to create games that do more than just provide very fun game play, but also to engage the player into a very interesting story and even provide life lessons that would impact one's life greatly...to a point where it would seem so important to follow. If there is any game that actually impacted me, it would be Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7. "Protect your honor, and no matter what, embrace your dreams." - Angeal, Zack Fair. This quote really keeps me going, and I have even influenced those around me with it. Sorry for the amazingly long introduction....I hope I don't get in any trouble for this, but I didn't do it purposely. This is just naturally who I am you know, and I hope I am not looked down upon for this. Anyway, hello to everyone of Vizzed!      And I just have one question in this introduction. I press enter to space out my paragraphs, yet when I preview my work, it doesn't show up with my paragraph spaces. I don't know how it will look when I submit this thread...but I'd really hate to make this seem all like mumbo jumbo. I checked formatting options, but I couldn't find anything about spacing in between paragraphs. Might there be any kind of forum about this?

Shogun Gamer : i wouldnt worry too much,you get warnings,not an outright ban.plus they would only ban people from,say the chat room or the forums,and for a few days unless you did somethin very bad.

Don't get too stressed about the rules. They are basically common sense if you keep in mind that Vizzed is supposed to be family-friendly (as in appropriate), no flaming, and discussions must stay on topic... There are a few specific forum rules, but if you make a mistake someone will likely correct you for future reference, and it's not a big deal.

First offenses, especially if they are minor or accidental, will not result in a permanent ban. The only time us mods will have a problem with you is if you obviously disregard the rules and/or don't care about them. Vizzed members have gone from being trouble-causing newbies to holding staff positions. Even if you do break the rules, as long as you stay on good behaviour and make an effort to follow them in the future, there should be no problems. But since you seem to care about not breaking the rules I definitely don't think it will be an issue with you.

As for your paragraph breaks not working, I think it might have something to do with your account being new... As in, you can't have customized posts, or something. (I'm not sure, that's basically a shot in the dark.)

I. Love. Big. Posts. I commend you for it. You already look like you have a stronger will than I do to make a big, meaningful post.

I can understand your fears, although I have had to deal with these fears in college. There are times when I get so fearful that I fail to even submit assignments altogether. Annette, the person in the post above mine, is one of Vizzed's moderators. And she, like others, is willing to take your questions. You can ask me if you want but I do not have a staff position here, nor the experience to answer everything.

I am sorry to hear that the game you wanted to play is not working. I can understand that since several games I wanted to play have incompatible graphics with my computer. But I am not complaining. There are plenty more games to choose from.

I am not much of a Jazz person; the only Jazz I will listen to is Smooth Jazz. I prefer more like Rock, but you might get a better idea if you listne to the artists instead. My favorite artists include but are not limited to, Kutless, Thousand Foot Krutch, and Casting Crowns. *hint hint* There is one more artist you can find sitting underneath my rank.

The enter button is not working for you? I think I know what problem you are having. It is weird, but what you want to do if this problems comes up again is... hold down Shift when you hit Enter. Let me know if this helps --only because I would like to know if my assumption was correct.

Wow, I feel so happy reading all your posts. Though I'm not sure if you might check here again because there are many other newbies who need more attention than myself. Ok, so I shall test this Shift+Enter method and see if that works. But thank you so much everyone for accepting me into Vizzed.com, I already feel a friendly environment upon my shoulders.

Welcome to the Vizzed forums Shogun! I'm not sure how you did it, but you managed to become a member without meeting the requirements of a week and 10 posts. That probably means you're an extra special member!

Like everyone said, don't worry too much about the mods being strict and all. Most of the time, you will know when you're breaking the rules because many of the rules are designed so that they can only be broken on an intentional basis. Things like flaming, or insulting another user, and spamming are pretty obvious. And it'll help you to know that all of the mods were regular users, even newbies, once themselves, so they know how everyone feels about strict mods on the boards.

I love writing stories too, but I haven't gotten around to posting them on Vizzed. There's a section for them, if you haven't noticed already, in the lower right that says "Stories" and you can post your wonderful works there. Of course, if you don't feel confident enough to, then feel free to read everyone else's works.

I enjoy jazz, it's really relaxing to listen to. I don't know how to play it at all, but it's still nice to listen to.

Again, like everyone else, the longer your post, the better! If you've noticed, we actually reward those that have longer post lengths with Viz, so that we don't have short 3-word posts.

To everyone here, the reason why you can't separate your paragraphs as a newbie is because newbies don't have access to html. When you hit "enter", you're actually telling the post to add a piece of code that allows a line break. Since newbies can't use this code, they can't split paragraphs. It doesn't have to do with holding shift or a glitch or anything. Since you're not a newbie anymore, your last post could be broken up into paragraphs because you can use html. That might've been more of an explanation than needed, but I hope I explained the truth.
