Ive only played the demo so much of what i played could change by time of release, unless its already been released...
The game seems to have a fairly free story line and to describe it without destroying the storyline would be to say it is rather like Fable (Fabel?). You have the choice to be 'good' or 'evil'. Example, let the people you just freed go... or (do as i did) and send your minions to destroy them! What i like about this game is it is rather fun to play! You can control minions, the amount you control grows through out the game. And they will do all your evil bidding for you... They will, on your command, attack enemies... or sheep... they will collect items they find for you and items they find that are useful they will use themselves... and in fact even with it isn't useful they will probably keep it for themselves... (Example, after destroying a pumpkin patch, cause ya can, several minions were wearing pumpkin helmets, i found it rather humorous...) The game combines that with magic, fantasy creatures and flexible storyline. Overlord in my opinion is Fable meets Oblivion. The only thing i found disappointing was that its graphics were not as super intense as Oblivion. But it does have a multi-player function (i suppose that justifies the limitations on graphics... well it works for me) Im going to give this game a thumbs up (Y), if you have spare money or you liked either Oblibion or Fable then i suggest you purchase this game (it deserves more then a download  ... )
Graphics: 8 (it works for the game play) Audio: 9 (Your assistants voice can become annoying... Game play: 10 (Its fun, no pressure, pillage a village or two cause you got some time to spare before you go to work sort of game) Now, im not sure if it was because it was set up in such a way that the demo would allow this but when i cast a spell such as FIRE!!! on stuff like Wheat or a tower made of wood they would burn, im not sure of any game that contains this kind of chain reaction sort of effect. Something to think about eh? Aight well, thats my review on the game Overlord scoring a total of 27/30 from me.

I think it will, but i dont have a sys requirements at the moment. Ill see if i can get one.
the website is http://www.codemasters.com/overlord/ and i was unable to track down sys requirements. Im sure with lowered graphics and stuff it will... Though even i have to wait like... 3-4 seconds for a load time...

overlord is a grate game. you dont need to do much but let your minions do all the work i give the game a 9/10. but its a new game so it wont work on my computer
