Unless the cheetah can somehow hide itself in the grass and attack the hawk when it's on land it wouldn't stand a chance. I doubt that happening, why? Because a Hawk would never casually walk around on land, and the hawk would spot the hiding cheetah and continuously attack it from the air until it dies.
