Personally always like Playstation when it came to consoles as my main pick, but Wii comes in a close second, I just play the PS3 more so I voted for that. Prolly never will buy a XBOX or anything microsoft when it comes to consoles for the simple that Nintendo and Sony has never failed me in my decisions.
PS3 upsides are: Blu Ray Player, Built in Wireless, Bluetooth Compatibility, Streaming Media etc, Free Online Gaming and very respectable specs.. Obviously the ps3 is a more superoior system. i have not heard anyone mention the sixaxis contoller which can do alot the the things the wii can do. The ps3 is practically a computer. you can hook up a keyboard, mouse and printer. Its internet browser is almost as good as internet explorer. Also the ps3 updates itself frequently so add ons are always coming onto games and the system itself. So, I have to say PlayStation 3.

Well, I don't know what you say, but I say the Wii. It's the most creative and fun in my opinion, and the Wii is the only console these days that is not overrun by shooter games. Plus, it has the Virtual Console. -------------------- |

I say it is really hard to say. Wii has a good chance because it is original and you don't have to use an ordinary controller. PS3 has the best graphics in my opinion. X-box 360 seems to have the best gameplay along with Wii. -------------------- |

I'm getting a PS3 for my birthday, so that means I have 2 out of the 3 current-gen consoles. I have yet to get a 360 but I'm probably gonna be all set with these 2 consoles.

I think the PlayStation 3 is superior.
The Xbox 360 is still alive because of Xbox Live. The Wii isn't really making any good games. It had lots of potential, but when it came to Multi-Platform games, it was the same as a PlayStation 2 game. The PS3 is still alive because of excellent games, excellent graphics, excellent online experience and etc. etc. I also think PS3 makes better exclusive games and have lots of more projects coming. I have no clue about the future of Wii's exclusives, really, Nintendo has been focusing more on the Nintendo 3DS. The 360 has Halo 3, Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, and soon to come: Gears of War 3, Halo: Reach....what else? PS3 has Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, inFamous, LittleBigPlanet, God of War 3 and some more. GameExpert54 : Why does everyone say that Wii doesnt come out with good games. They do its just they have so much third party support that they get games like Carnival games and other crap like that. Xbox and PS3 dont have as much third party as Wii. The good games get crouded out by the crappy gimicky ones that just cash in on the motion control instead of having a story or good controls or... anything good about them.
I say Wii because one i own one and wouldnt give it up for anything and two Nintendo always comes out on top. From the days of NES to the 3DS Nintendo has been on top the whole time and they will be till Miyamoto dies...then it will go down hill from there.
