what it says in the title really, noramlly i would have said pokemon firered and game boy advance hands down but recently ive been getting into proffesor layton i know probably none of you have heard of it but i seriously recommend it its soo addictive lol, oh and if you are a layton fan type in proffesor layton and the malignant growth into youtube (funniest videos ever) you hsould watch even if you dont play layton lol anyway

whats YOUR favorite nintendo console and game!?

Do portable consoles count? If so, that would be the DS, a lot of my favorite games are on the DS. By a lot, I mean at least my top 6. (Megaman ZX being my top) As for non portable, it would be the Nintendo 64 because that was a huuuuge step in game development. And while Super Mario World comes extremely close (Even though it's an SNES game), I'd have to say my favorite game would be Majora's Mask. Game has extremely good yet subtle back story. Even the way the game was made has back story to it. Plus it was just extremely creepy with that moon.

Vincent Swiftstrike : DEFINATLEY! portable definatley count, most of nintendos are lol. and tbh i still have a massive soft spot for the gd ol gba i didnt really like the gba sp much it was too boxy :p but yeh i agree ds has loads of good games on it but the original gba games started it all off so i go back on my statement and actually pick gba haha im so undecided -.-

My favorite Nintendo console would definitely have to be the Nintendo 64 just because of the huge leap in gameplay and graphics from the Super Nintendo to the Nintendo 64 (I'm a huge Super Nintendo fan too, just saying).  Being able to play games with our favorite characters such as Pokemon and Mario in a 3 dimensional world was just amazing.

My favorite Nintendo handheld would have to be the Game Boy Advance SP.  When it came out I already had a standard Game Boy Advance, so I had a decent library of games up until that point.  I really loved the GBA SP because of it's backlit screen and the fact that it folded into a small enough size that it could be carried around and played anywhere (in my opinion, the original GBA was too bulky to carry around in a pocket).

My favorite game on any Nintendo console, although I never finished it, was the original Golden Sun for the Game Boy Advance.  I liked RPGs and played them from time to time before it came out, but something about the gameplay and storyline of Golden Sun drew me in.  Something about being able to use psyenergy to help solve puzzles and to search for all the Djinn you could find to use in battle (especially when using them to summon beings such as Ramses or Thor).

My favorite Nintendo console is clearly Nintendo64.

The overall best Nintendo console yet is the 3DS, because you can run regular DS games on it and they are probably developing flashcards and emulators for it. My favorite Nintendo console is the n64 because it was the first console I ever had and it's just plain awesome. My favorite Nintendo game is Super Mario 64.

I really like the Wii,Nintendo64,Nintendo DS and Nintendo GameCube So I choose the Wii mostly because of the Mario games.

Favorite console would have to be the wii. Only because it is every Nintendo console in one! My favorite game by them would probably be Super Mario Galaxy 2. That game is wonderful in every sense of the word.

My favourite console is the SNES while my favourite game is Zelda: OoT , and although I havn't beaten it yet, probably the 3DS version . It has smoother graphics and the 3D effet works well, not to mention the Mirror Quest and Boss Run modes!

I like the GBA Gameboy Advance and my favorite game in this console is M&L Superstar Sega.

Mine is the wii with Metroid Prime 3 corruption and New Super Mario Bros Wii.

My favorite was the Game Cube due to the sturdy design and comfortable controller. My favorite games would have to be Super Smash Bros. Melee The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, and Sonic Adventure DX: The Director's Cut

My favorite Nintendo console was the snes.  It had SO many GREAT games!  The jump in game play and graphics was the biggest we've seen yet in my opinion.  On the nes the graphics were still very pixelated, all of a sudden we had smooth, colorful games that looked more like cartoons than video games.  I still remember how impressed I was with Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter 2, and many, many others.  The controller went from a boxy joystick with two buttons, to something closer to our modern ergonomic designs with shoulder buttons.  The music in games also drastically improved, Symphony of the Night anyone?  My favorite game out of the many gems though had to be Final Fantasy III.  I love RPGs and this was like the release of my life at that point.  My family had never had a computer, so this was the coolest RPG in the world to me, and I recently relived those good times of FFIII and FFII here on Vizzed.  Thanks  Oh yeah, one last shout out, A Link to the Past.  Done.
