Have you ever experienced heartburn? Do you get it often from the food you eat or from being in a certain position? I sometimes get heartburn from laying down one way.

One last question. Do you know of anything that can help alleviate the problem? I am curious to know if there is anything that can be done besides medicine.

Yes I do get heartburn often because I'd eat...and sleep without letting the food digest. I also smoke a lot of cigarettes which is another cause for getting heartburn. The best cure is taking TUMS and drinking white milk.

But i had a mini heart attack once

I've had heartburn occasionally, mostly at school before the summer holiday. I usually get it if I've eaten any fat food, and sometimes when lying down, too. But I got medicine from the doctor, so that makes it more tolerable when I happen to have it. I really don't have any idea of other cure methods than medicine...

I have had this before and the best way to get rid of this is grab a bottle of water grab heart burn pills crush the pills up put them in the water put the bottled water in the freezer take a heart burn pill for the day then the next day take the water out of the freezer put it in the sink let it unfreeze then put in fridge for about 2-4 hours then take it out and you should be fine

I used to have heartburns, when I was eating more. But now I eat small portions and I avoid fried and too spicy foods, so I rarely get one anymore.

When I had a heartburn, I used to drink some tea, it made me feel a bit better.
