We've all seen ads for products that don't work like they're supposed to. And when we're suckered into buying them, either we're disappointed because it doesn't work, or really excited because it works better than expected.

So here's what we'll do: When you reply to this thread, give the product name of something you KNOW works, and then one that is JUST a lie.

I'll start.

Works: Abreva (cold-sore cream) I'll vouch that it cuts healing time by 2 thirds.

A product I tried that did nothing for me was 5 hour energy. I experienced no difference in my energy whatsoever when I took some of it before exercising. Maybe it would work differently for someone with a different metabolism or energy level than me, I'm not sure.

Well the iris pen works it scans hand writing and puts in on your computer but of course it will make mistakes once in awhile it's not perfect

Pepto Bismal, Neosporin work great for their intended use. Dyson is my preferred brand for vacuum's, however we got this older carpet cleaner thing that has suction as well, uses chemical mixture and water with bristles on the end, that works great, too bad there is no way to tell the brand.....
