The government isn't necessarily stealing our money and spending themselves, the money obviously goes toward social security for disabled people and old people, to schools and government parks, roads, military and all sorts of stuff.

I do agree that taxes are a little high, they take out about 25% of my paycheck which is ridiculous.

But like the liberals say, the government can spend your money better than you can

Our taxes depend upon your income... I thin the min is 40k AUD = 21% tax... But if you get to say 110k AUD its 51% tax... It seems kinda cruel in a way... cause from 110k to 500k (EG) its still only 51%... And the lower you earn the more you loose in the long run... Not quite sure on the lowest though i think that it might start at around 40k AUD for 13% or something... But yeah 21% does seem a bit high...
