Hey people, I want you guys to tell me who is really in the right here, for doing what they did.

darkrider1 : Yeah, I'mma bring this situation onto here.

So, on Friday, dark was making really rude and insulting jokes about me, even though I was clearly getting mad and such, but he thought it was ok. So what I did from there was go and insult him a bit and do the same stuff. He then got very mad at me and said we weren't friends anymore, which I responded to by saying "U MAD?" and "Rage Quit".

Another problem started today, too. When we were supposed to be getting partners to do our homework with, I didn't have anyone to work with, so he decided to mock me about it. not long after, his partner ditched him, so I then did the same, and he kept saying he really wants to punch me in the face.

And on the bus, might I add, he said that he wished I'd commit suicide, just saying.

So, who do you think is really in the right for being mad at the other for the reasons they are?

Well, two wrongs don't make a right. If someone is egging you on and trying to piss you off, they are obviously wanting to see your reaction.

The suicide thing is seriously uncalled for. Some people constantly hear that and they actually do kill themselves. Anyone who says that is an idiot. Imagine if it got to Mega's head and he actually did commit suicide. The person who said it would (or at least should) feel like a soulless a-hole.

My advice in this situation is to be the bigger person and ignore anyone who bullies you instead of getting worked up over it and continuing the conflict. I know that can be difficult, and frustrating because it feels like you're not standing up for yourself... but it's happened to me before... It's pretty much the best way to get people to leave you alone. But if your bullies see you acting like their comments don't matter, that really is the best way to stand up for yourself and discourage them from attacking you.

MegaRevolution1 : well that sounds prety two faced of him and he seems to have anger issues.

Like Annette said, two wrongs don't make a right, and you really shouldn't have mentioned his name, there's a thing called anonomity that is very appreciated around this time.

i think the suicide comment was over the line, but you weren't exactly being totally perfect either. You both are kids, so the immaturity is to be expected =/

My personal advice is to have a good long talk with your supposed friend, and decide for yourself whether your friendship can be fixed. If it can't, then simply cut ties, and walk away.

well I had the same kinda problem
and well it resulted in me choking him...
but we had a talk and every thing is now peachey so just try to talk it out and go from there

Let me ask this. Did you get a great deal of satisfaction out of insulting him after he insulted you? If he was bothering you before, then you pretty much sunk to his level either to try to hurt him or to feel better about yourself. Think about which one it was for a bit. Really think about it, then read the rest of my post.

If you were just trying to hurt him, that makes you a bully regardless of provocation. If you were trying to feel better about yourself then you're just being immature. You'll grow out of that eventually. Assuming he was not provoked, he would be considered a bully.

The suicide comment is completely uncalled for. I don't care what the situation is. When the subject changes to someone dying, there is a problem. He is completely at fault there. There is no excuse and there will never be an excuse, so don't even try. The situation was different, but one of my closest friends nearly died as a result of bullying. You'll never get pity from me in any situation involving bullying and death comments.

Now that we know who everyone is, let's consider who is at fault.

*I'm not calling you dumb. I'm saying you did something dumb. There is a difference.

It doesn't matter who is in the right. You both did dumb things. If Your Friend did not actually mean what he said, then you can probably talk it over and rebuild your friendship.

If you want the friendship to even have a chance, I highly suggest that you edit his name out of your original post. The longer it stays up, the more it will drive you two apart.


If Your Friend has another angle on this story, I would be glad to hear and adjust my comments accordingly.

First, kudos for the "U MAD?" and "Rage Quit" comments.

But if you two were friends, a silly thing like this would't come between you.

This is an easy question to answer. Dark was being a loser FIRST, so he is at fault.

I agree with Leggy because he knows alot about immaturity.. and mostly cause kids even my age are mostly immature and u 2 are supposeivly around my age. And Annette caught me when she said 2 wrongs don't make a right because that is abbs***ly true in my eyes. Everyone in this thread simply told you if you want to stay friends with him or make the friendship work you could start by taking his name out of the thread so I would do that if I were you. Bnuge really laid out the true quality of the matter. Really I know alot about immaturity to because I have been pretty immature my whole life. I'v been praying for myself and hoping I would become more mature everyday and really, I have matured in alot of areas in my life which I am very very proud of myself. Because I really hated being immature..I hope I'm never like I was again.

I think that MegaRevolution1 is right because you did not start it, he did. I would have done the same thing too. I used to have friends that did that to me and so I did it back and they got mad. They just do not get how other people feel about this. I do not care if they say that we are not friends anymore because he started it and I would do it back to him. He is just mad at you just because he had a taste of his own medicine.

Well dark did start it But you contuined it this could have easily been resolved by saying
that it wasn't funny i'm sure he woulda stopped. But dark it was wrong to tell mega what you did.
You were both wrong it coulda stopped right at the jokes But insted it went futher.

Yep, I agree with annette and legacy, none of you are right for doing that. Just do the mature thing and ignore his insults. It wasn't very wise to have this thread stating his name because this could be another way of starting stuff (even if it wasn't intentional). If you guys still have some serious drama between you to, then maybe you should ask if you could change classes or something.

Personally, I think calling someone out like this on the forums is immature in it's own way.If this is a thing dealing with you two, I don't think involving people in the forums directly like this is the best way to go necessarily. You could have explained the situation while keeping his privacy and asking for advice, whilst stating what happened, keeping him anonymous. In this way, it seems like you are trying to attack him in someway. No good will come out of that, and you will only damage the relationship more.When it comes to an argument between friends, the argument's goal shouldn't be to win. But to be understood.

Mega.....really i guess we were both wrong but the suicide thing.....you said "i might not come into school tommoro" and i said " What are you going to commite suicide" and you said "ya maybe" so dont put that on me and now you got everyone thinking im an a**h*** for this......THANKS MEGA.................
