Comments and suggestions are very much appreciated.

I probably would have never bothered touching my RPG Maker 95 site again, but I needed a project to work on for my portfolio that demonstrated my skills, so I figured I'd just re-make my RPG Maker 95 site.

Please note, the music isn't by me, about half of the graphics are by me, and everything else including coding is all by me.

Note: In IE, the music works but not in FF. In FF, the use of cookies works, but not in IE.

When you walk into a building or something, you should remove movement from the character. Because I can freely roam the map while it loads.

Zylo: This actually took me a while, about 30 or so hours, BUT, I could easily make more maps that use the same sprits and graphics in no time, once I get everything created, done the coding, making the levels is stuff is much faster.

Bigbob: Yeah, my internet is so fast that I don't even notice that you can walk around after you've walking into a building, I'll have to fix that.
There aren't any easter eggs yet except one, and it's just a little message. I'm gonna add atleast 2 more easter eggs, they're always fun.

If no one noticed, this flash file sends and retreives variables from PHP. In php, variables are being saved to cookies so that each page knows the last place you came from. So if you go to the arcade, and leave it, the index page knows that you came from the arcade so therefore you'll be standing in front of the arcade on the index page. The cookies things doesn't seem to be working in IE for me but it works fine in FF for me.


ALSO, to bigbobs question, there is a possibility of porting Vizzed Ville to flash, it'd be a lot of work though, but I'll think about it.

Im guessing php, but just making sure.
Go view cookies in IE (after you've done afew things in the flash game) and filter by vizzed. See if the problem is in the problem is in the creating, or reading the cookie in IE.

I cant view the clip in IE, because I dont have Flash Player installed, fair enough. Why is real player trying to install the plugin for it??
So I goto the flash player installer page and install. Success Flash Player 6,28,0,7 installed successfully.
Even the screenshot showing you how to click run has got "Adobe Flash Player 9" writen on it.


EDIT : Oh, real player was installing the midi plugin, and somehow Adobe Flash Player 9 is installed...

After spending hours of trying to figure out why IE wouldn't work with cookies, I decided to use sessions instead, for many reasons. After spending hours of getting sessions to work, I found out that the directory that the sessions were being saved to didn't exist, so I had to make it.

Anyways, it works nicely in Internet Explorer!
