Hey guys,

Until about 2 weeks ago I had forgotten all about my love for retro games, until whilst tidying my study I found my old Gameboy Colour with Pokemon Yellow in it.

After I played and completed it (much quicker than I remember when I was 10) I had the taste again for it, and this site provided me with the outlet!

Just a question, with Pokemon games is it possible to trade to get Pokemon that aren't otherwise available on certain versions?

lukesmith1989 : is it possible to trade on vizzed games or on the originals?im asuming you mean on vizzed, i dont think it is but there are plenty of modded pokemon games here that have all the 1st gens/all the 2nd gens/all the legendarys etc.
there are some interesting ones where people have made there own plot which is good too, enjoy vizzed.

I would love to trade on my Gameboy but at 22, there aren't many Pokemon enthusiats that I know. I was tempted to actually straight up buy an extra Gamboy and both Red and Blue versions to trade with my yellow!

Where to I find the modded Pokemon games? Or am I just being a lazy idiot as they are pretty much straight in front of me? Ha.

you can just search pokemon in the retro search engine and look through them, or type mods or hacks.your better manualy going through with pokemon though.

That list of Pokemon mods looks pretty good, I'm kind of an old-school Kanto/150 Pokemon kind of guy. I'm slowly warming to the idea of 250 Pokemon but I think it may take me a while. I think there are like 600+ Pokemon right now!

I've been playing LeafGreen so I'll try and find a mod/hack of that, as the layout is pretty straightforward to begin with and then gets more interesting. I think I'll also take a look at the Ashs Quest and Team Rocket mods, which could both be fun.
