I've tired to play several games yet when it loads i find i cant do anything and no amount of pressing buttons or reloading the game does anything at all

Seimika : There are a few things that could cause this. A few are probably ones you either considered already or know for a fact it is not it, so please don't be annoyed.

If you are on a wireless, I find that it if your connection isn't the strongest, it affects the loading of the games. If you are not using wireless, using cable works best in my opinion.

If there is more than one computer connected to your network, that can hinder the speed. Since some of the games are large, that could be why they won't load at all for you. Again, if you are using a wireless router, make sure you set up a password to be able to use it. Otherwise, anyone with a computer with wireless capabilities can use your router, creating more traffic on your network.

Next, sometimes firewalls can make it not load no matter what you do. If you have a firewall that you can customize, change the settings so it doesn't see this site as dangerous and not block it.

You might be one of the people who are experiencing the full effects of the maintenance of the site (especially after the work of that hacker). Things keep getting added, changed, or temporary limited due to updates, making it harder for you to get things loaded. If none of my suggestions work, and nobody else helps, I would suggest going on the Retro Game Room forum and go under the thread labeled "How can I improve RGR" created by Davideo07. Reply specifically to one of his posts so he will get an extra notification that you are needing help. Explain your problem and ask if there is anything you can do at home to fix your problem. Remember to be polite not only because he is the creator, but he already has a LOT on his plate after what happened and he is still trying to set aside time to help people individually. Good luck

rcarter2 : i am using wireless since i really dont wanna go out buy a long a** cord and keep on triping over it cause i know i will lol. as too the firewall... well i really dont wish to mess around with it i will see i can do that. and i might do that if it continues lol considering all the points i lost just trying to get those games to work

I understand the wire thing. I'm the same way. Just make sure nobody who isn't in your home can use your signal. Hopefully, you won't have to mess around with the firewall settings much. Like I said, depending on what kind you have, you might be able to change it to where you can make this site specifically as okay instead of opening it to allow other sites or streams. Good luck.

rcarter2 : nah no1 knows who my wireless connection is since i changed the name of it cause it would be kinda stupid to have your last name are ur wireless connection so no1 should know my passward. and as far as i know i'm only one using wireless from to the houses beside me as well as one infront of me. so i seriously doubt someone is using it

Seimika : I am using a wireless computer. a laptop actually. so Wireless doesn't make a difference, what games are having these problems?

Which games have you tried? Narrowing it down could help find the source of the problem.
