as for you others, game companies are restricted by the limits of the console, and if i was making a game, i'd want to find a point where i can make a awesome looking game, and have a large audience and make money from it... its been said before about the ninendo market, and here in aus it isnt quite the big fish it was back in the day... great consoles can fail, even with great games, ie: dreamcast

Thats an xbox vs xbox 360, there is big hardware differences .
That laggy bit in halo 2 though, isn't hardware. They shouldn't have coded that FMV to try do more than what the console is capable of.

I am going to get a 360 because there are a couple of games on it that I like, but I also am going to get a wii for the different gameplay.

These days very few games come out on just once console so does it really matter what you use?

It does if you prefer PC. These days, maybe because its easy to hack games, most games get released to PC... like some of the PS3 games... i could so play them on my PC but NOOO they dont release it to PC

If i had the money i'd buy the 360 and wii. And shame on all of you who said just wii. You damn well know its a pretty cruddy system overall. The only thing that saves it are games like zelda.

Well my dad sold me his broken xbox 360 for $15, I sent it in to get fixed, so now I'll have my own. I'm also getting a Wii in January, especially excited for Super Smash Brawl!

PC people are a tad annoying like that.. they dont buy consoles cause they have an all mighty computer and dont like things that hook up to their tv... and then they complain when companies neglect to release games for pc... so pasically pc people have a choice, either get a console, or play CS and WoW for the rest of your days

Nice one . Aswell with consoles they dont have to worry about different sys requirements. There is one set of sys propertys (for each console type) and they can use there code to push the console right to its limits.

I don't approve of this kind of talk. It reminds me of consoul gamers who think they are so rightous by buying million dollar consouls and thousand dollar games and then buying multiples of each instead of stealing them through the devine power of pc, but not mac..... f**k mac

I personally enjoy console gaming much better, something about being able to sit back on a couch or comfy chair with a controller in my hand, big tv, and surround sound.

Nothing against PC gaming though, I see PC gaming an equal opportunity for anyone to make games, which is beneficial for me and the future of vizzed

Honestly I prefer consoul gaming too, even tho i haven't been a big consoul gamer. In reality i had to come back to neojazex. He was on a rampage and needed to be taken down

Yeah, some people need reality checks like that. Thing I love most about Console gaming is the fact that there are a lot of games that are multiplayer and playing multiplayer games is a lot of fun, especially co-op games like Halo, Phantasy Star Online, Splinter Cell, etc.

PC gaming is alot more expensive aswell.

For a good enough computer to play top-notch games is very expensive but PC games themselves seem to drop in price within weeks of being released. I go to target and can find PC games for $5 or less, games that had been over $40 a previous month.

Yeah, ok ya got me... its expensive for me to play games... but hey... i have a job and thus can support this expensive addiction...

Its also because my PC is awesome...

So basically, ill play any game on the market at full graphics... And not worry bout a damned thing... and ill be getting another 8800GTS probably in the next 3-4 months. Not such a big issue atm :p

another thing about the big pc games... it seems like a game like WoW or CS or Whatever floats your boat.. becomes less of a hobby and more of a lifestyle

I agree with you 100$ neo about the lifestyle thing. PC gaming is far to addictive and it seems that PC gamers are generally those who have either too much free time or (no offense to anyone i this thread) have no life. I remember when I was obsessed with the Sims, I'd start playing for jus a little while, and what appeared to have been only a few hours of playing was actually about an entire day.

It doesn't necessarily make you hypocritical, I like console gaming better even though I love creating games for the PC (though I've never made a full length game).

But thats not PC gammers, if the games came to console (yes, i know CS is on console, but if it was compatible with pc version (for online play)) people (who had a console and not capable pc) would use it as a lifestyle aswell.
