First of all, i would find a reliable vehicle that is strong and sturdy, hopefully one that is refridgerated so i can store food. Possibly even make it strong in the front and add extra armor on the sides. Next, i would find me a weapon store and stock up. I would hit certain stores and stock up on medicine and such.

Sharktip : I would do as you say, the essentials (food, water, weapons, transportation0 and if possible a safe shelter... preferably a underground Cellar, or a Stable structure like a mall or hospital something that can be complelely cut off should an outbreak occur, i would keep everyone thats alive together, and never let anyone wander alone.

I would definitely have a tanker follow me around with gas, usually after awhile there will be no power, so it would be great to have back up gas. One other thing, finding a home with solar power would be nice as well. Finding survivors along the way as well, the more man power with weapons, the better the chance.

The easy answer would be find the nearest gun and shot yourself since they'd get you sooner or later..

Hmm... I'd probably run to Costco or a similar supermarket and lock myself in. Infinite food and supplies! I'd also gather weapons and similar things to defend myself.

Btw, a zombie attack is physically impossible, even if zombies DO exist.

I would try to assemble a team. Everyone would have to specialize in a particular area --even if they did not have the best skills for the job. My team would comprise of (in no particular order of importance) weapons specialists, survival experts, trackers (got to rid the world of all zombies), and maybe a psychologist that could help us keep our sanity. Oh yeah, I would keep my Bible with me. I need to keep my faith alive not undead... like the rest of myself.

1 and also get lots of weapons, ammo, barricade materials, and fuel(s) of many sorts. Also the heavy duty car/truck parked out back would be useful.

Well like everyone else. Guns, supplies and shelter is top priority. Get a heavily armed vehicle to get you around that can store goods and ammo and of course a tanker to have with you. I would look for survivors to help better chance of making it through the outbreak, but if there was a bigger threat out there such as mutations. It's going to be harder. I would find a place that is a few stories high like a mall or some sort and make our base near the top and carry a radio around to try to get into contact with anyone that is still alive out there.

I think there is a huge flaw in all these fortress ideas. Once the zombies know where you are, they'll surround you. One famous general said, "If you make it too hard to get in, it's too hard to get out." What happens in a week when you have no food, sewage, or water?

You gotta keep moving or go where they ain't.

I'd select terrain difficult for zombies to cover. I live in Hawaii, so we have plenty of mountains to protect us. There's some food available and running water. I would have structures built but nothing too sturdy. You have to move every now and then. I'd have a group of people who have skills and can add to the party. We'd live as long as possible off the land, leaving the zombies alone and doing our own thing.

Boring? Maybe. Do I get bitten? No.

The world is in turmoil of zombie infection, if you are on the move, why not take a little trip to Area 51? If there are no zombies there because of the high security, then youd be safe, but if not, why not explore? Locking yourself in a store seems like a good idea, but sooner or later, there will be no people left to run the powerplants and there will be no power to keep the food cool. Having a vehicle, like a swanns truck that you can drive, and keep things cold seems like the way to go. Id save survivers, hit the gun shops, medicine stores and like i posted before, drive a gas tanker with ya so you know you will not run out of gas for awhile. I might even get myself a cruise ship or some type of boat with plenty of room for people, and im not sure if zombies can swim. Im sure since they are dead, they would just float but have no way of getting onboard. Another idea, finding a good island to live on thats not far away from the homeland, where you can fly a helicopter back and forth if you ever need supplies. Growing crops to survive, herd animals for fresh food on this island would seem a good idea.

I would build an empire underground what Osama Bin Laden was believed to have been doing during his years of hiding out.

There would be an endless supply of food/water, the most advanced security...like in the airports, and lots of guns, bombs, rocket lanchers, swords, etcetera to protect myself.

If all fails and my underground empire somehow becomes discovered by zombies, then I'd fight to the death and eventually end up dead meat.

I would arm myself with a ton of guns and kill as many as I can then run for my life and if I'm lucky get my hands on grenades start. Chucking them and blowing them in half better yet fire a grenade launcher or use a rocket launch. Shoot them in the head with it then keep on falling back running and escape the city my car that I drive would be armed to the teeth .50 caliber here and there lol.

Sharktip : id go to the police station and take all there riot gear so they couldnt bite me, if there were any police vans there id take that as well,then id head for the best fortified building i could find and block all the exits, either a castle or a prison would be the best buildings since theyre built to keep people in and keep others out.
Stock up with supplies and start signallng people in.oh and theres no way id be letting people in like they do in the films, i wouldnt let them in until i was certain they had no bites.

There wouldn't be enough time to find a suitable shelter, being that most of the population would be Zombies. All there is to do, is fight.
I would get a Motorcycle, swords, and guns. The essentials, such as food and water, would have to wait till I need them. Traveling all the time is the best way to survive. If you stay in one place for too long, you would think its safe, and let your guard down, and then your dead. I would wait it out, from them. just traveling and re-killing any that crosses my way, helping keep the rest of the population survive.

like you said I would get one of those huge armor like trucks where you can shoot out of it with guns and stuff stock up on food medicene and any other things I need. Make sure I have plenty of ammo then Id go kick some zombieeeee buttttt lol By the way I'm a hugggeee zombie fan + movies
