Thanks for this thread. Today I had the same problem happen again. I came to the site this morning and everything loaded up, but it was going awfully slow and I know my computer is doing fine. After I made 3 or 4 posts today. It repeated the time out and error like Thursday before you took the site down to work on. It lasted about 30 minutes to 50 minutes. I don't know if that was you working on it more, but it happened again.

I had something new happened to me. It's speeding up slightly to me, but ever so often when I flip through random pages, such as the retro game room, my threads, and new threads. I get a threat warning. Have you checked to see if they possible attacked your site with a hidden virus? Plus if there was a DoS attack going on, there'd the a high CPU usage on the server and the page render seconds at the bottom of the page would be high but that isn't the case.
