Hello

I am an intermediate/advanced level self-taught guitarist. I have played various genres and have managed to learn numerous techniques and integrate them into my playing style. However, I am nearing a brick wall, and I got absolutely no clue where to go next.

My playing style is probably closest to a blend of Joe Satriani and B B King, and I write lyrics along the lines of Pink Floyd. My major genres of work, despite working with a wide range, is Instrumental rock , blues, classic rock and metal. I have never played in a band due to no one available locally. That is a minor reason as to why I got no formal training. I have written various bits of material, but none of it recorded in audio.

So...do anyone have any suggestions where I could look next?

I just had a listen to the song, and I don't really dig it. As well, I am trying to find some more technical material so I can improve. I may look at the solo briefly just to see how it's done but...I'm sorry. Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think it will work.
