Sega will bite the dust if they do release a new game system now. I'd rather them just join Nintendo and combine to make a new one instead.

Skip ahead to 0:55, which is where they address the rumors of Sega making new consoles. He states that they are not in the hardware business anymore.

It won't ever happen. As some have said, Sega has been adamant about the fact that they will never produce another console again. They are simply finding software far more lucrative for them these days. This does bother me, as despite not being a Sega fan I did love my Dreamcast. I still have a working one in the room with me. But it's not going to happen.

Actually the chances are very low, but it's possible. Simply the Dreamcast failed because it was easy to hack. Anyone with some coding background is able to hack the Dreamcast and play the games for free. Now with all the security and stuff, It's very hard to hack a console. So there is a possibility that Sega would release a new home console, but I don't think that's going to happen some time soon

Had less to do with hacking, more to do with copying games. HOWEVER... that was not the only reason. That's just Sega's excuse. The prior reasons included: Sega's past failures weighing on games, poor planning and execution of their entire business strategy, the overhyped and underdelivered introduction of PS2, and Sega panicking and buckling under PS2's hype pressure before finding out if it was just that: hype. Sega ultimately were the ones who borked the Dreamcast (piracy at the time was nowhere near as rampant as they claimed either) and it for that reason their President has gone on record saying Dreamcast 2 will not happen.
