I would choose the hot tub. Its been a long time since I've been in one and I would love to get into another one. When you having a stressful day after a hard day of work. Or you just feel like relaxing and wanted to get away from the everyday stress. Get in a hot tub and enjoy the soothing hot water relaxing your body. You basically just melt in that hot tub not wanting to get out. Ahhhhh. That feels so good.

I have both a full-sized in ground swimming pool and a hot tub, but if I had to choose just one, I would pick the swimming pool.

While the hot tub is nice, especially in the winter, and I can have drinks with my friends while sitting in it... I can't manage to stay in it for more than about forty minutes. Otherwise I start to feel very uncomfortable from the hot water.

I find swimming much more relaxing, not only because the water is cooler (only slightly, we usually heat it using a solar system so it gets to be about 85 degrees)- But because there is more room to move around. I can go completely under water comfortably. Diving, and doing laps, and floating on my back are more relaxing and enjoyable. Especially skinny dipping at night, since there is no roof over the pool I can look at the night sky while immersed up to my neck in the water... So awesome.

I like swimming pool better.
I don't like staying in a hot tub because I prefer cold water, as cold as possible. And I could also swim comfortably. I don't know why hot water makes me irritated, even if it's just a shower.

I like going back and forth instantly for the rush, maaaan. Hot tubs are fun when you have some babes, but it's real easy for me to get sick of it since I'm too hot always unless it's almost freezing. Pools are fun too because they're cold and you can do more, but ever since I got my sternum fractured playing rugby when I go underwater it feels like my chest is being crushed and I can't hold my breath comfortably at all

I also like swimming pools better...it's fun, relaxing, and an excellent workout.

Hot Tubs don't do much for me besides get my skin wrinkly after a few minutes. Sucks because you can't swim or put your head under that hot water whereas in a pool you can swim freely.

I love both hot tubs and pools, since I love being in the water, but if I had to pick one, I'd have to go with a swimming pool. I can only stay in the hot water for so before I get too hot and have to step out or jump in a pool to cool down(that's probably one of my favorite things to do). Plus I love to swimming under water. I'm not the strongest surface swimming, but give me a pair of goggles and you won't see me accept for occasional breaths of air. So pool all the way.

Well obviously a hot tub because it is more relaxing and it is not sometimes COLD when you go into the water like in a swimming pool, but if it was a very hot weather then i would prefer a swimming pool to cool off.

I much more prefer swimming pools.
I prefer them because if I am going to be submerged in something I don't want it to be terribly, terribly hot and cramped.
I'd rather it be comfortable, which is what I find swimming pools to be. Once you're in a swimming pool I find it to be like being suspended in nothing, like you can just do whatever.
While if you're in a hottub, while it's relaxing for like 38 minutes and 26 seconds it can be a bit stifling, cramped, and uncomfortable to submerge myself completely.
I do however like steam rooms and saunas, but that's for a completely unrelated reason.

Swimming Pools = more space, cool water, more room to play/ move around in, laps, staying submerged, and relaxing
hotubs = great for a group of people, warm/hot, relaxing, and people do sometimes drink while in them. though I cant stay in there as long as a pool. Lol @ going back n forth between them.

While I'd rather avoid swimming pools since I hate what the stuff in pools does to my hair, I don't mind just putting my feet in one. I prefer exercise that involves stuff like bikes, skateboards, or parkour, though. At the house I lived in before my parents moved us to a different house, we had a hot tub, and it was okay. I found it kind of boring, though.

I'd rather swim over sit in something that I could get the same experience from sitting in a bath tub with swim wear on.

I only swim in swimming pools if its the one in my backyard. There's no way in Valhalla I'm going in a public pool. Kids pee in those.

Swimming pools are a little better because the water is refreshing and there is plenty of space to swim around in. I don't mind hot tubs, their warm water always makes me feel super refreshed as well.
