Yes. I'm still new in some spots, but I gain 3 trust points. Not by asking, but doing good deeds and helping out others and just be plain out nice to everyone. Thats the easiest way to gain trust points. Though it may take a while to gain those trust points, because you have to earn people's trust in you.

It isn't a good idea cause if you do user's usally take away trust points insted.
Best way to get trusted is too post quality posts more then 5 words. be friendly to newbies and follow all the rules. if you do you will make the trusted rank in no time.
