0.1 Superman, The Man of Steel is good with everything, but video games. From NES to Xbox, he really hasn't done very well. But one game is extremley bad. From 1999, a bad game was born. Superman 64. OK, I am going to ATTEMPT to go FULL DETAIL on how bad this game really is. 

                                                         --- Looking at the Game ---
First let's look at the boxart. Ok, don't belive what it tells you. You are not SUPERMAN, you are Superman's brother going through training. He has to TORCHER himself by flying through rings, and picking up cars. Even worse, he had to test all 100% of the game, and if he didn't like it 100%, they would shoot him. He had to complement the horrible controls. He had to love the horrible gameplay. He had to say that this game was made in Heaven, and that this game was written in the Bible, by God Himself. Then the company who made this (Titus) locked him up in a cellar. With no light, just a N64, a Superman 64 carditge, and a small TV. He was down there for two years. Then, in 1999, they let him out. May 29, 1999. They then let him see his family again, and after 5 seconds, the owner of Titus said, "If you don't get your ugly, yellow, chesterwagon out of here, before I count 10, I'll shoot ya. 1, 2, 10!" *raphidly shoots* The family, luckily, made it out. He said, "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!". (Sound familiar?) (Eric Caun is actually a lot nicer than this....) Then, he walked the streets of... uhhhh.... wherever he lives, and people threw Superman 64 cardritges at him. And out of all those people, only 30% were adults. So, onto gameplay. It sucks. All you do is fly throgh rings, pick up cars, fly through rings, pick up cars, fly through rings, pick up cars, rings, cars, RINGS, CARS, RINGS, CARS, RINGS, CARS! D:< And, on top of that, you have EXTREMELY BAD controls. So, what does that mean? Don't play the game. Now, why is this game 40 VIZ?!?! It should only cost... 20! Why? Because this game is so horrible! Now let me tell you,rhis is definitley worse than E.T. for Atari. So just do this: don't play it. 

                                                        --- Being nicer to SUPERMAN 64?!?! ---
But wait... that rings, cars, rings, cars, rings, cars is just Level 1. The Ring Stages are called "Ride Stages". After a Ride Stage, you get to play a minigame. The first one revolves around keeping cars away from pedistrians. But if you really want to, go up to a mother with a baby and take the baby. It doesn't matter, she'll have infinite babies! Then after a few more "Ride Stages", and some minigames, (and a police dpt. which is just a sign) we see a rare happening. Superman Wins. No, not Lex Wins, Superman Wins... but that's not true. Lex still wins. He always wins. You're still stuck in the Virtual World. He never loses. He never will lose. He never previously lost. Now if you make it to Level 2 (NOTE THE WORD IF), you go to this labratory, where... wait! No rings in sight! No cars in sight! Just a computer! So you go around doing stuff, finding (not fighting yet) a boss who falls through the floor, finding some friends, falling through the floor, walking super fast, and going back to fight the boss. The boss (who's name I forgot) keeps falling through the floor. After you reach the end, (which is nowhere near the boss), you go to Stage 3. Let's just say, RINGS, MINIGAME, RINGS, MINIGAME, RINGS, MINIGAME, RINGS, MINIGAME. Stage 4. You go to LexCorp. You go all around the stage doing stuff like spelling Luthor on a computer, unlocking elevators, finding new power-ups, falling through the floor, watch a second Superman appear through a glitch. (Which I think is Glitch #21) At the end, you fly over a boss, read letters, and then watch Superman fly into the distance and into Metropilis... or stop at a wall. 

                                              --- What Titus... no, DC comics did! ---
Titus made this game quite bad. However, it was based off of the TV series. It's not called Superman 64, it's actually called Superman: The New Aventures. Wait... AVENTURES? It's ADventures! It has some of the villians, picking up cars come from this, but where did the rings come from? They started working on the game in 1996, and in one early screenshot, Bizzaro was shown! The other picture looked acceptable. Now here's somthing disturbing... this game was shown at an E3! But not just one, but TWO! There was a huge delay in release. This game was made by a comany with a scary logo called Titus. Titus had a mix of good games and bad games. Besides... this is the only Superman game they made... wait, WHAT? They made Superman on Game Boy? NOOOOOOOO!!!!

This actually sums up how badly I hate this game. But seriously. Its bad.

Superman 64 is one of those games you would want to burn in a fire, this game is really bad! I even played this and this sucks! Good gosh, this game is a game to avoid.

This game was so bad that I never wanted to play this game again.  I hated it a lot and how could they make this game that bad? Good review though.

I played through all of this crap and it was just awful. I think that it is one of the worst 3D games I have ever played. The flying is fun out in the open when you can't hit anything.

Marcmoney : Well, it wasnt the devoleprs fault, it was DC Comic's fault. The original design of the game was to ambitious for N64's tecnology. They had to dumb it down just enough to make this the way it is.

I did not know that it was a s***ty game the first time I ever played it. I thought that it was actually supposed to be good. I was obsessed with Superman so when I saw this I had to play through it. I did and looking back it was awful.

billythekidmonster : Yeah, I expected it to be good too, but it's probably the worst N64 game I've ever played. Everyone (who doesn't try it after seeing every worst game ever list) has high expactations, but they get blown to nothing.

I know I can not think of a game that gets even close to it for being just so awful. Not on the N64 that is. I think that if they fixed the controls it would be a decent enough game.

billythekidmonster : Yeah, if the controls were like a good flying game, the game would actually be decent. The sound and graphics would also needs some improvement.
