The eviolite is definitely the most useful item this genration. it has made many pokemon that used to be unplayable playable, and Chansey is broken now.

Rocky Helmet basically enables any Pokemon to have Rough Skin. It can do some huge damage, and given to a wall, against a physical attacker, it can tear opponents apart.

But I like the wings, too. And the Relic Items for making tons of money quickly.

I'm going with the air balloon. It only gives you one extra turn of being Earthquake free, but that one turn can make or break the entire battle, especially if the item is used properly. Eject Button is also a great item that requires tactics to use properly as well. I also agree that the eviolite and rocky helmet items are useful as well; rocky helmet on Ferrothorn is just plain messed up.

i really like Rocky Helmet and Eject Button as well as Eviolite
All i can say is that Gen 5 introduced some great items
I love the Gems and Wings just cuz they can give a needed boost for special occasions

I also agree that all the items were a welcome addition. Though I must admit certain parts of the game became easy once I had a Ferrothorn with Rocky Helmet. Because of the dual Rough Skin along with the item, anyone lost 25% of their health when they hit him physically. Best decision i made in awhile

I vote for the balloon, because it will keep electric types like Raichu, Magnazone, and Electivire from getting a one hit ko from earthquake. What's better than causing your opponent to wait a move in such a fashion? And once they catch on, you switch out and finish the job.
