Unova far outclasses the Sinnoh region in several aspects. Unova and 5 gen brought in so many new Pokemon and features that it allows for a nicer gameplay in my opinion.

Well, its a tough choice.
I like Unova because its new I think, and the graphics make it pretty.
However, Sinnoh is much more familiar to me.

I think the Unova region greatly improved on the Sinnoh region. The latter didn't really bring anything new to the table after the 3rd Gen, but the 5th Gen was amazing compared to the 4th.
