Okay, so for those of you that don't know what Shenmue is, click here.

Shenmue is one of the first open world games, and it was pretty breathtaking for the time, because of the realistic graphics that were almost superior to today's, the story, and the awesome motorcycle scenes.

They actually made a movie out of all of the cutscenes, it was that awesome.

So, it was a success, and they made a sequel. The sequel wasn't that much of a success and never left the PAL and NSTC-J regions, unless you played the Xbox version.

And people wanted another sequel, and SEGA couldn't do it because of costs, afterall, it's still the second most expensive games that was ever created, and they didn't want to let anybody down.

So on March 2, 2011, 10 years later, Yu Suzuki, maker of all 3 games, appeared at the Game Developer's Conference 2011 (marking his first appearance in America). When he was asked about Shenmue 3, he said: "I think SEGA will let me make it…it's a matter of budget…we have to make it in an affordable way.

I actually had Shenmue 2 for the Xbox. It was a fine game when I look back on it, it just might not be able to compete with the monsters being made today.

Shenmue 2 was and still is one of the best games i have ever played.. i spent hours on it and it amazed me how much you could do on it, they need to hurry up and get on with Shenmue 3

I guess I have no issues with it being released, although I'd only play it if it somehow came out for PS3. Otherwise it goes on the list of games like Fable 3, the list of games I will not play.
